Ok, you can't promote amos screens in any way, let alone to a gfx card.
What you can do, is get an extention like the Intuition extention that can open a gfx card screen and copy an amos screen to it.
This copying has to be done every frame, so it drops the frame rate a little, but it is currently the only way of having a real amos custom screen on a gfx card.
It does work, you can see my JamesBond game for proof :)
